Donbass International Journal of Emergency and Applied Knowledge Management has been accepted by the Academic Council of the Donetsk National Technical University on March 20, 2015 (Minutes № 2), with its issuance approved by the Ministry of Information of Donetsk People’s Republic on August 6, 2015 (Decree № 305).

The print and online versions of Donbass International Journal of Emergency and Applied Knowledge Management  have been recorded permanently in the ISSN Register as follows.

Donbass International Journal of Emergency and Applied Knowledge Management provides a refereed international forum bringing the latest research to bear on the issues involved, with a focus on contingencies and emergencies, crisis and disaster management and planning as well as some applied knowledge relevant to the topics covered. Among the issues considered are current trends towards environmental, industrial and occupational safety; development of advanced psychological and educational approaches for their use in higher educational institutions of Donetsk People’s Republic, including those providing training for disaster management officers; considering various top-priority theoretical and practice-based issues connected with further development of the Emergency and Disaster Management sector.

Topics covered by and discussed in Donbass International Journal of Emergency and Applied Knowledge Management are intended for those legal entities and individuals involved in various research and educational activities in the field of Emergency and Disaster Management and Planning as well as in various production sectors.
